Austrian pianist Philipp Scheucher ranks among the most distinctive musical personalities of his\ngeneration. With his natural charisma, radiant\npresence, and infectious joy of playing, he captivates audiences around the world. His concerts have taken him to many of the world\u2019s leading venues, including Hamburg\u2019s Elbphilharmonie, the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, and the Konzerthaus Berlin.<\/p>

He is also a welcome guest at international festivals such as the styriarte, the Copenhagen Summer Festival, and the Heidelberger Fr\u00fchling, among many others. His artistic activity spans solo recitals, chamber music collaborations, and orchestral performances across five continents \u2013 including appearances in Japan, South Africa, Canada, Brazil, Russia, China, and the United States.<\/p>

Scheucher completed his master\u2019s degree with distinction under Markus Schirmer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, earning recognition from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research as one of the country\u2019s top 50 graduates. Further studies led him to Ilja Scheps at the University of Music and Dance Cologne (Konzertexamen) and to an Artist Diploma at London\u2019s Royal College of Music, where he worked with Dorian Leljak and Ian Jones.<\/p>

As a passionate educator, Philipp Scheucher made a lasting impact as a lecturer at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz and within the Young Academy Styria (YAS). He regularly teaches international masterclasses in South Africa, Japan, Brazil, Austria, and Germany, continuing his artistic-pedagogical work at a high level. Since autumn 2025, he has been a faculty member at the Anton Bruckner University Linz<\/b>.<\/p>

Since 2022, Scheucher has also been a member of SYMPHONIACS<\/a><\/b>, an innovative Berlin-based collective that fuses classical music with electronic club culture in a truly electrifying way.<\/p>

A multiple prizewinner at national and international competitions, Scheucher achieved major success with the Second Prize at the International Beethoven Competition Vienna and the Beethoven-Haus Prize Bonn.<\/p>

His discography began with his solo debut album Quasi Fantasia (2019), followed by the double album Concert ap\u00e9ritif du Piano and the acclaimed BEETHOVEN album (Naxos, 2022). His latest release, ODYSSEY (2025), recorded with Franco-Dutch violinist Cosima Soulez Larivi\u00e8re, has received multiple awards and enthusiastic international reviews.<\/p>
