My personal “Prelude” for the Beethoven anniversary 2020 was the concert in the marvellous Théâtre des Sablons in Paris together with the “Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle Europe” under the baton of Nicolas Krauze with Ludwig van Beethoven’s piano concerto No. 3.

The musical journey with Beethoven went on in his home town Bonn and with the fulminant Choir Fantasy my intense “concert year” comes to an end on the fourth Advent Sunday. Stay tuned for more in 2020…

On 24th September 2019 I visited the Steinway House in Düsseldorf and talked with Carsten Dürer – publisher and chief editor of the music magazine “PIANONews” – about my professional career and my debut CD “QUASI FANTASIA”. You can watch the video interview here (English subtitles available soon):

The debut in the big hall of the “Elbphilharmonie” in Hamburg with Tchaikovsky was a great success. The packed hall with 2.100 listeners, a fantastic Bösendorfer 280VC, the musicians of the K&K Phil and above all the conductors Maximilian and Matthias Kendlinger made this very emotional event to a musical celebration.

Within the last few months I have travelled the world – from Brazil, South Africa, Russia, to Japan. Now, my very first trip to China is awaiting me. I will discover this new country from 29th August until 11th September, before I visit my hometown on 13th September. I am very much looking forward to this adventure.

After the international DVD preselection process and three intensive rounds at the “Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition” I have been awarded third prize. It was a special moment to play in the famous “Casa da Música” in Porto with the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of maestro Osvaldo Ferreira. A great honour and an even greater start for the summer.

With great pleasure, I would like to present my solo debut album named “QUASI FANTASIA”. The CD contains both well-known and rare treasures of classical music. It celebrates even two premieres with the sensational discovery of Mozart’s “Alla Turca” sonata AND the reconstruction of Zerline Erfurt’s “Sonata quasi Fantasia”.

It was my first journey to Russia, which exceeded all my expectations by far. In particular enjoyable and inspiring was the cooperation with fantastic human beings as well as musicians. With Beethoven’s Triple Concerto it became an unforgettable experience.

The “Elbphilharmonie Hamburg” has quickly become one of the most important concert halls worldwide. It is a pleasure for me to play in this fantastic hall together with the amazing K&K Philharmonic Orchestra and Matthias Kendlinger. On the program: P.I. Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto No. 1.

The Brazil-tour is over and soon the “show” must go on. The next stop again will be a personal premiere: Russia.
