[:de]Beethovens „Schicksals-Sinfonie“. Corona verschloss die Türen zu den Konzertsälen dieser Welt, doch wenn das Schicksal mit dem wahrscheinlich berühmtesten Anfangsmotiv aller klassischen Sinfonien an die Türe klopft, öffnen sich neue Wege.
Das Beethoven-Jahr geht weiter und der Jahresregent darf auf den Konzertprogrammen nicht fehlen. Coronabedingt bleiben größere Reisen leider aus, jedoch gibt es Konzerte mit Publikum u.a. in:

[:en]Beethoven’s „Destiny Symphony“. Corona locked the doors of our world’s concert halls. But when the destiny „knocks“ on the door with probably the most popular theme in music history, new possibilities are awaiting us.
The Beethoven anniversary goes on and the composer’s works should not be missing on any concert program. Although travelling further distances is not possible due to Corona, there are some concerts happening in attendance of an audience. E.g. in:

[:de]Bei den St. Florianer Brucknertagen nahe Linz gibt es am 17. August ein musikalisches Feuerwerk mit Werken von Beethoven, Bruckner und Schubert zu hören.
Ein Live-Konzert im prunkvollen Marmorsaal des Augustiner Chorherrenstifts St. Florian.

[:de]Neue Konzerttermine [:en]Live Concerts start again[:]
[:de]Endlich scheint es einen Lichtblick zu geben und die ersten Live-Konzerte werden wieder möglich sein. Im kleinen Rahmen geht es bereits im Juli los bei den traumhaften Gartenreisen (Tours fabuleux) von Anke Mattern. Auch die Duoabende mit dem norwegischen Geiger Laurens Weinhold im August finden statt. Und auch solistisch geht es wieder los – ganz besonders freue ich mich dabei auf das Heimspiel im September.

[:en]Finally! The first live concerts will be possible very soon. Within an intimate atmosphere the first public performance is at the wonderful garden trips (Tours Fabuleux) by Anke Mattern. Furthermore, the duo recitals with Norwegian violinist in August are fixed. And last, as a soloist it will go on – my personal highlight is definitely playing in my home town in Austria in September.

[:de]Trotz des Lockdowns und der vielen Konzertabsagen gibt es viele Lichtblicke und Projekte, die mir ermöglicht wurden. wonderful projects and silver linings possible for me. Besides plenty of time to rethink I had my daily Couch Concerts, one world premiere and the passion for Styrian folk music has newly sparked my enthusiam. [:de]Auch in so schweren Zeiten wie diesen aufgrund der Corona-Krise bleibt die Kunst nicht auf der Strecke. Der Komponist Gerd Kühr hat das Werk „Corona Meditation“ für Klavier zu Papier gebracht, welches in Kooperation mit der „styriarte“ am Donnerstag, 30. April 2020 um 20:20 Uhr online uraufgeführt wird. Das Besondere: jeder kann sich live zuschalten und über die App „Zoom“ mitspielen.

[:en]Even during these tough times due to the corona crisis, art and music does not stop. The Austrian composer Gerd Kühr wrote the piano piece „Corona Meditation“, which has its world premiere on Thursday, 30 April 2020 at 20:20 CET. Two special things about this project are: (1) The concert organisation „styriarte“ helds this whole event online and (2) everybody can paly along live via the app „Zoom“.

[:de]Die österreichische „Kleine Zeitung“ bietet in der schwierigen Zeit der Coronakrise eine virtuelle Bühne für Künstler. Am Samstag, 04.04.2020 um 19:00 Uhr darf ich zu Gast sein und das sogenannte „Wohnzimmerkonzert“ gestalten, welches als Livestream übertragen wird und ebenso als Aufzeichnung zum Nachhören mitverfolgt werden kann. [:de]Es betrifft nun alles und jeden: der Coronavirus (COVID-19) hält die gesamte Welt in Atem – so auch die „Konzertwelt“. Leider trifft dies alle Künstler und Musiker besonders stark. Ebenso bei mir abgesagt sind die Tournee in Russland und die Konzerte in Italien – Ersatztermine werden gesucht. Vieles bleibt unsicher…
Das Wichtigste für mich als Musiker ist, positiv zu bleiben, die Maßnahmen weltweit ernst zu nehmen, aber vor allem aus der Situation das beste zu machen. Die Musik begleitet uns überall – auch fernab von Konzertsälen und Konzertreisen.

[:en]Currently everything and everybody is concerned about one thing – the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Especially the concert world, artists and musicians are affected by the consequences of the worldwide outbreak. My tour in Russia and the concerts in Italy are already cancelled – alternate dates in progress. A lot of things stay uncertain…
The most important thing for me as a musician is to stay positive, take the worldwide measures serious, but on the other hand to make the best out of this situation. Music accompanies us everywhere – even far from concert halls and concert tours.
